On Feb. 28, 2025, École Varennes hosted an LRSD GSA Movie Night with a pajama party theme. Over 45 students from 10 different LRSD middle schools and 20 leaders attended, enjoying free snacks and drinks. The event was a resounding success, providing an excellent opportunity for clubs to connect and for leaders to meet like-minded students. Special thanks to Dene from Rainbow Resource Centre for providing additional information and resources. A big shout out to the students at Varennes for preparing decorations, pronoun buttons, and organizing snacks, as well as to the senior leadership team and school trustees for their support!
